Since 1990, YOACAP has worked across Philadelphia to strengthen civic participation among youth, young adults, and their families through non-partisan community work. These efforts include voter education, community organizing, and outreach. The program equips communities to engage in the democratic process. Inspired by the youth movements of the 1960s, that legacy continues to shape the program’s work today.
